The Rebels enter the 2024 All-Star break with a record of 5-2. Following All-Star weekend, the Rebels will play 18 more games in 2024. Reading has just begun to play its best basketball of the season as they have won three-straight, starting with a 131-129 victory against the Jamestown Jackals. Aquille Carr scored 37 points in the win, while Quadir Welton notched a double-double with 25 points and 16 rebounds. Last Thursday, the Rebels took down the Connecticut Crusaders by a score of 122-109. Another night of pure scoring for Aquille Carr with 27 points; Quadir Welton added another double-double to his 2024 campaign with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Javon Adams entered the chat with a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double. This past Saturday, the Rebels took their first matchup of the season against the Virginia Valley Vipers, 105-100. 20 points for Aquille Carr, 19 points and nine rebounds for Ronald Scott, 18 points and six rebounds, and a 17-point, 13-rebound double-double for Quadir Welton. Anthony Lee added 15 points to the night. The Rebels take on the Jamestown Jackals next Friday, April 5th at home. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00pm.
